Based off the armoured M69 Flak Vest, adds some arms and removes the armour to create something that's likely a bit nicer to wear on the daily. Many of the features from the M69 are there, albeit refined and tweaked with the sort of attention-to-detail which comes from the mind of Angelo Urrutia.
The familiar padded collar of the M69 is recreated with as a shawl collar in ribbing which is shared with the cuffs. Adjustment at the sides is achieved with lacing which is also lifted straight from the original Flak Vest reference, albeit without the open sides of the original. Large pockets on the chest combine with molle webbing panels above to ensure the military roots are undeniable.
A heavy 10oz viscose finished in olive has shades of the military roots but possesses a silk touch which gives the piece a far more luxurious feel compared to standard issue cotton twill.
